John Cena Is The New ECW Champion

John Cena made history as he became the first person in VGWF History to wear the ECW Heavyweight Championship, as well as the first member of They to win a Heavyweight title.

In a highly anticipated, highly competitive match, Cena faced Kane and John Morrison inside the Elimination Chamber. The match could have goon either way but it looked like Kane would win after a Big Boot to Cena and a Choke Slam took out Morrison. Before Kane could go for the pin, Cena got to his feet and nailed the Attitude Adjustment to Kane to eliminate him and then pinned Morrison to with the match.

After the match he said that it is only a matter of time before They control all the gold in VGWF.

Edge Wins Intercontinental Championship

In a move that surprised the wrestling world, Jeff Hardy chose not to sign a new contract with VGWF. As a result, he was stripped of the Intercontinental Championship. It was announced that a new champion would be determined in a Fatal Fourway on last nights edition of VGWF Wrestling, but with Team Tony in quarantine, it became a triple threat match pitting Edge, RVD, and Kane against each other.

Despite protests from Team Jason members, all three men fought a very competitive match that ended after RVD missed a Cross Body to Kane outside the ring. Kane entered the ring to in Edge, who had been knocked down by a stiff kick from RVD earlier, but was met with a Spear, giving Edge the win. The win wasn't with out controversy however as Team Jason claimed that Kane could have kicked out but chose not to.

Stone Cold Injured

In possibly the most brutal assault in VGWF history, Stone Cold Steve Austin faced Edge and Vince McMahon in a Last Man Standing 2 Out Of 3 Falls Cell match. Austin tried his best to hold off the members of They, but a trip through the top of the cell lead to his eventual lost. He was taken to a nearby hospital after the match, but no word on his condition has been given. Stay tuned to VGWF.Com for further updates

Team Tony In Quarantine

VGWF Management has been informed that all of Team Tony has been placed in quarantine due to them all having the highly contagious Venezuelan Goat Flue. As a result, the anticipated rematch between Steve Austin/Randy Orton and the Brothers Of Destruction for the tag titles has been postponed, as has the World Title Match between Batista and a member of They.

Instead it has been announced that the ECW title and the Intercontinental title will be on the line tonight in Triple Threat Matches. Team Jason protested what they felt would be unofficial handicap matches, but They representatives said that when singles belts are on the line, it is everyman for themselves.

This will be the first time the ECW title has been on the line. The IC title was vacated after former champion Jeff Hardy failed to sign a new contract with VGWF.

Team Tony and Team Jason Join Forces

After winning the Tag Team Championships last night, Team Tony and Team Jason seemed to have formed an alliance to take on They. Representatives from their respective teams spoke at a press conference after the show and announced that officially they would be known as Everyone.

The two teams have worked together before, but they alliances have always been short lived. It is anyone's guess how long this newest alliance can survive.

They Lose The Tag Team Titles

Last night on VGWF Wrestling, They members Undertaker and Kane lost the Tag Team Championships to the team of Randy Orton and Steve Austin.

Austin and Orton, members of Team Jason and Team Tony respectively, had beaten the Brothers Of Destruction earlier in the evening to become #1 Contenders and then challenged the champions to a match. It was a 2 out of 3 falls, Last Man Standing match with a 5 count outside of the ring. Austin and Orton won by keeping their opponents busy outside the ring, winning by count out.
